Yesterday on finebaum, (I know, I know) he had a guest (writer) that covers Vol sports. He was giving all of the ins and outs of the NCAA jab at Tenn over collectives and NIL. The NCAA is more concerned about collectives.
He said that the NCAA has a list of schools that they are also about to attack over this, especially collectives, "and if you have had a top 5 recruiting class or a very big financial individual signing," you can expect the NCAA to be digging into your program in the near future. They also pointed out that the NCAA's financial resources are not that great.
Now that saban is gone, is bama open to "attack?" Not sure what is going to happen to TENN but the Atty General there has filed a lawsuit against the NCAA on behalf of the Vols.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Schools are doing their best to make the NCAA vaporize.
