Pretty awesome to see. Male/Female have a large nest in a pine tree just off the property and mom gave birth to two chicks several months ago. They both are now larger than their parents (have a bunch of feathers). They talk a lot and go on joy flights often. Below is a pic my father-in-law recently took (they were hanging around a grass field next to the house). Can't get enough of them.
This family is located in the Hayesville, NC area (Lake Chatuge). It's very rare to see eagles in those parts, and we have the good fortune of basically having them live on the property the last 6 months or so.
