Tua’s performance in the MNC game is terribly overrated. He was very reckless with the ball, should/could have been picked 4 times. He failed to execute open screens when under duress. His plays of note were a few deep shots that def demonstrated his arm talent, BUT there is nowhere near enough substance there for him to warrant the top tier ratings that are being bestowed upon him by analyst and publications in the pre-season.
Now, he has ELITE arm talent. It’s incredibly hard for me to feel like he easily displaces at 25-2 starter and performs at an elite level for an entire season of SEC comp with 1/2 a game of experience, I think he’ll be highly prone to costly turnovers. QB controversy brewing at bama, IMO. Will be interesting to watch unfold.
