Families needs both a mother and a father in the home in order to raise children appropriately. Heck even kids that turn out ok, meaning they don't commit crimes and riot, have serious emotional issues due to their lack of a proper traditional upbringing. Yet divorce rates are as high as they have ever been, and we want to expand the marriage "right" to even less traditional coupling.
