Landover, Maryland, an early stop on the famed 1990 spring tour, brought one of the band's most fabled performances. After a long 16 year layoff (last time played was 10/19/74), the very popular "Loose Lucy" was returned to the band's lineup. This popular first set rocker had been rumored to be in the works before the tour started up and anticipation was building when the tour finally kicked off in Landover. The band delivered and the song would go on to be a popular and fairly regular first set staple (63 more times) for the duration of the band. Loose Lucy comes at the 32:40 mark of the video linked below. For those that love the music, there are better recordings on the "Re" app and other media forms. When the volume is turned up, you won't hear a louder crowd noise than what comes after Jerry belts out the first line "Loose Lucy is my delight". Give it a listen.
