I assume this is part of the larger effort we've seen the last few days from Republicans scrambling to be vocally pro-vaccine. The stark partisan divide in vaccination rates illustrates that the constant stream of anti-vax propaganda from the right has had a huge impact. Regardless of the motivation, it's good to hear more Republicans forcefully advocating for the vaccine. People are dying needlessly right now and every responsible leader should be imploring people to go get vaccinated immediately. Unlike the first 3 waves, the currently building 4th wave is almost entirely preventable in terms of hospitalizations and deaths.
