I don't know if this has been discussed in the mega thread, and don't want those that follow that thread to have to avoid spoilers if they don't want to read them; spoilers have never bothered me.
Anywho, this just happen to pop up in my newsfeed. Apparently, someone leaked the spoilers for the final 3 episodes and the other 2 were very accurate. So here are the spoilers for the finale. See what you think.
AGAIN, POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR GOT FINALE BELOW:
Here is everything the leaks tell us about the final episode of Game of Thrones.
Daenerys furthers her decent into madness, giving speeches about freeing King’s Landing and then arresting Tyrion for treason.
Jon, pretending to sympathize with Daenerys, stabs her and kills her. Both Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington are fantastic actors, so this should be done brilliantly.
However, this is where the episode falls off the rails and fans will lose their minds.
Now that Daenerys is dead and no one is in charge, the remaining council (including Sansa) decide who should rule, and thus decide on Jon’s fate for murdering the queen.
The council picks, you guessed it, Bran.
Yes, with Sansa, I-was-literally-made-to-be-queen right there, they pick Bran I-literally-was-a-bird-during-the-battle-with-the-Night-King to rule. Great writing, guys.
The rest of the ending, although odd, is not the most unbelievable, as Sansa rules in the North, Jon returns to the Wall (supposedly reuniting with Ghost and Tormund!), Tyrion and Brienne are members of Bran’s council as King and Arya goes off on her own to explore parts unknown.
