Wanted to get rid of Pearl over. JFC what a damn sh*t show. I think Auburn's dysfunction is finally going to cost the football program. We can't keep Harsin now, so, it is about how much he gets paid. Harsin can play hardball, but, if he does, he risks his reputation in college football, but, he likely knows this was his shot at major league college football so, might as well get his contract. Auburn, of course, doesn't want to pay and would love to lay this right at Allen Greene's feet. He's been dead man walking for a while, so, guess who your fall guy is, and guess what...we are going to have to pay him to be the fall guy. This will be a $20-22 million hit and that's before we hire another staff. And who would want this job now? We have a general who isn't used to people telling him "no" without the ability to court martial them, a President who has a foot out the door, another President with a foot in and I'm sure Jimmy still thinks he can get Stoops to come just because he answered a text message or some bull.
