Given where we are as a program this is the biggest game of the year.

Bama lsu and uga are all lightyears ahead of us and we are playing catch up the thing is A&M is as well. I feel like both schools this weekend are in a similar spot with similar goals. Long term we want to be consistently good enough to be mentioned in the same breath as the top teams in the conference....and it looks like Texas is getting it figured out as well. This is a chance for Auburn to get a leg up in many ways and announce that we are back.
Here's what's on the line:

Win advantages: recruiting, program buy in, player confidence and buy in, legit bowl game, national ranking. Plus, it basically implodes A&Ms program. A loss on Saturday sets them back years.....and they are a scalp we will have to collect it we ever want to be considered a dominant SEC force in the future.

Loss negatives: worse bowl game, freeze still has to prove himself to players and fans, recruiting takes a small hit (but a huge bump if we win imo)

Bottom line we are in a great spot. A lot of people have us losing by 10 or more. I don't think so...

I think we win.
