I know I am probably a simpleton (just an ol' Southern country boy), but help me here. If it has been argued that we import such a small percentage of Russian oil that it could really not help fund a war effort/support an enemy economy in any way......... How is it now that banning Russian oil is the sole reason we have elevated gas prices in the US and there is nothing we can do about it? It is just one of many things that is not logical to my simple mind over the last couple of years. I am sure there are some geopolitical experts around that can enlighten me.
