Thoughts: Auburn has done a lot of work on Green, more work than any school recruiting him. I think Auburn is comfortable and confident in the work they’ve put in on him. And Green is comfortable with Auburn and the coaches. He likes how Auburn plays. He likes the style of play. He likes the freedom Bruce Pearl’s system allows.
Memphis is a threat. No doubt about it. Some analysts and reporters still think he chooses Memphis. They could be right. But with Pearl, Ira Bowman, Wes Flanigan and Steven Pearl all working together on Green, as well as Sharife Cooper and Devan Cambridge, among others, it’s hard to pick against Auburn here. And I’m not.
