So I’ve been felling trees since I was 10yo. One guy that has been with me for 5 + years has dropped timber for most of his life. I brought my excavator from the farm to take care of this situation. Dude puts a perfect notch in the tree while I have pressure about 20 feet up to guide it. Damn tree twists mid fall and takes a 90 degree angle. My entire 4 block radius is without power and they know who did it! I’ve been so stressed, that all I could do was laugh. Nobody was hurt, and all I have to do is haul the tree off and fix my lawn (and the neighbors). I’ve never seen so many people standing on a curb and not come talk to me. They were not amused.
