This is a quick update on Myles Murphy, a four-star DE (Class of 2020) from suburban Atlanta.
He hasn't yet created a list of schools per se, but he said Auburn and Clemson and Georgia will be part of that list. He grew up supporting Alabama, though he had a cousin (Dexter Murphy) play at Auburn during the early 2000s. With that said, he has transitioned from "fan" into "prospect" and he's considering schools in a much different light these days. It's all about which school presents him the best opportunity.
He wants to be a civil engineer. He's visited Auburn twice already and really likes Auburn's engineering program. He seems to like Rodney Garner quite a bit, noting that Garner's office is "always dark, which is cool."
Myles is a mature young man who reminds me of Dontavius Russell from a personality perspective. Understated, careful with his words, not very emotional.
