The next few days... Reply
I spoke at length with the A.D at a major SEC school earlier today. I
will not name the school or person, but I can tell you this.......it's
coming this week for AU boys. I highly advise you to cease any
doubting of what Helena has posted on here tonight, he is dead on the
money. Reece has also been on this thing from the start as has Hub,
and I can tell you that what they are saying echoes what I was told
today. Hub wasn't necessarily wrong when he said Cam wouldn't
start......because I'm told there was SERIOUS consideration given to
sitting him for this game, the AU program is NOT united on this thing,
not even close.
There have been shots taken by AU fans/boosters/players/coaches at
major media outlets like ESPN recently because they appear to be
placing so much focus on this story even though they "only have a few
little quotes from anonymous MSU coaches". Trust me.....there's a
reason they've been so confident and sure in the things they've said,
and it's because they're sitting on a mountain of info that has gone
unreported to this point. Soon AU people will know why ESPN and the NY
Times have been so aggressive with this story.......there's a major
difference in how much they report and how much they actually know.
Lastly.....it's being accepted as a general fact amongst AU fans that
this investigation is nearing it's conclusion in relation to them,
when in reality it hasn't even gotten cranked up on Auburn yet. The
NCAA is investigating this thing in the chronological order with which
the events took place. Ask yourself this......if the NCAA really "knew
all these details way back in the summer", why is it they just
interviewed Bill Bell this week and have only in the past couple of
days scheduled an interview with Kenny Rogers? The NCAA is going to be
methodical and meticulous throughout this process.....they are fully
aware that the ruling they make on this case will set a major
precedent one way or the other going forward as the landscape of
college recruiting continues to change. They intend to send a message,
and AU will be the example......playing Cam today just made things
that much easier.
This investigation hasn't shifted its focus towards AU yet, that will
change very soon. I had only SUSPECTED this until today, now I am sure
of it.

Imagine, part 2 Reply
Back by popular demand, and because I know some of you are stuck in a
house full of people you're thankful to only have to deal with once a
year......we will continue the Imagine saga.
Tonight, our imaginations shift from ESPN to the New York Times, let us begin.
Imagine that a number of SEC presidents and AD's were quite upset with
the way Mike Slive and the SEC offices handled the Cam Newton
situation.....but were unsure about taking action themselves due to
the obvious risk involved. Imagine that they decided to leak
information to the New York Times on the condition of anonymity, and
in turn the New York Times sent people down to Alabama this coming
Tuesday to continue investigating in preparation for a major story
about corruption at Auburn. Imagine what would happen if multiple
members of our state media who are too scared (and rightfully so) to
expose AU had also agreed to meet with the New York Times and provide
them with any and all information they've accumulated, also on the
condition of anonymity.
Crazy huh? We're not done though. Now picture the ESPN heads who have
been sitting on their own major story catching wind of this......can
you imagine their reaction?

Imagine, part 3 Reply
Jaws 3 sucked, so did Major League 3. Jurassic Park 3 was nothing to
write home about either.......but Imagine pt. 3 is here to deliver.
Tonight, our imaginations carry us back a few days to midweek in
various towns across central Alabama. Imagine New York Times reporters
in Auburn and Montgomery.......imagine FBI agents in some of those
same locations. Can anyone imagine how they would conveniently wind up
in the same places at the same times?
Now as you ponder that, allow me to present this scenario. Imagine
you're Jay Jacobs, and certain powerful people at Auburn have had your
back this entire time mainly because you've kept them unaware as to
just how extensive the corruption within your athletic department
is........and now imagine those individuals being MADE aware of ALL
the facts. Myyy how things would begin to crumble on the Plains once
they realized certain areas may need to be sacrificed in order for the
university to remain accredited.
Lastly......to those who doubt me when I say there are those tied to
AU willing to use any means necessary to control information that is
made public, and that many within the state/local media would opt to
share info with a major outlet rather than RISK reporting it
themselves......imagine certain people had copies of a few incredible
stories that never made it to print BECAUSE of such measures being
taken and THAT was their reason behind being so steadfast in making
such claims.

Imagine, part 4 Reply
Recent weeks have been tough for the Imagine series. Critics from such
reputable havens of rationale like the Mainboard and the Bunker have
been less than kind in their harsh reviews. It all came to a head on
Christmas day when Imagine part 2 was released, and within it was the
suggestion that several New York Times investigative reporters would
be headed down this way the following Tuesday. Within this post was
also included the fact that multiple state media members would be
meeting and sharing information with those from the NY Times. "Stupid
Bammer" many exclaimed....."how would he know what the NYT and/or the
FBI is doing"? "He's just looking for e-cred" others concluded, "there
is no validity in anything he's written. If the state media had such
damning evidence they would report it themselves in search of career
advancement. They have nothing to fear".
Imagine a certain someone (we'll call him awaJ) had spoken with
MULTIPLE persons interviewed by the NY Times last week, and that's how
awaJ knew what was going on. Furthermore, imagine awaJ reading the
following quote in a comprehensive e-mail sent to him detailing one
such interview. "They are going after Auburn hard man, they are blood
thirsty and they have been very thorough. Let me put it this way, if
the NCAA knew ONLY what the NY Times knows and nothing more, it would
already be enough to bury Auburn".
Imagine the sender of this e-mail being a name every single one of you
would recognize.
Imagine Auburn University being rocked to its very corrupt foundation
in a way that would take DECADES to recover from. Not JUST from NY
Times reporting of course.
Imagine the time for imagining soon coming to an end.
