We had 8 OL on this roster before this recruiting class. He has added 8 more. 4 High School guys, 1 Juco, and 3 portal guys. This should obviously be the top priority for the roster.
We also, funny enough, had 8 DL on the roster before. He has added 9 more guys. This should be a close second priority for the roster, and it appears the staff agrees.

I am including the Jack/Buck/WhateverTheyreCallingitNow linebacker as part of DL depth btw. That outside linebacker position is not too far from a typical defensive end position in a 4-2-5.
People are talking a lot about who we'll get at quarterback. A good QB with a year left would be great, don't get me wrong. But that can be the difference of a couple wins next season. All this linemen depth will be the difference of many more wins over the coming years. This foundation is very important for Freeze's success here.
Also, lot easier to recruit a quarterback when you already got a nice OL to work with.
If quarterback ends up being a struggle next season, that really is not the end of the world in year 1. As long as a great foundation is laid with a strong OL that can pass protect and open holes for our great RB room. If that is the case, then recruiting skilled positions will become much easier for the staff. It is a miracle Auburn has Cadillac, otherwise the RB room would be pretty bad. I don't know how he recruited guys like Tank to come play behind this OL. Hopefully he won't have that handicap in the future.
