Food is now running out in Venezuela due to the actions of the socialist government there. Seems supplies of commodities run out when the government dictates what can be charged for goods - like 2 cents a pound for flour. With the profit motive gone, food producers get out of the business and people starve. Venezuela now needs a $60 billion infusion from 'capitalist' organizations such as the IMF that Mr Chavez ran off some time ago. Free stuff seems like a good idea until this kind of thing starts happening.
