Bunk, my dad is in his mid 70s and is an avid fisherman. He's fished all over the southeast, Mexico, and South America. However, he has never fished Alaska. My brothers-in-law and I were thinking about planning a trip for us all as a surprise for his birthday next summer (July 2022) on the Kenai. We are all proficient fishers with fly and casting/spinning gear but have never fished AK. Dad is in very good health, but isn't going to be climbing any mountains or running a 10k. We are looking for a fish camp where we will be generally comfortable and well-taken care of, and where we'll catch a load of fish. Preferably at least 3 full days on the water. Please tell me where you've been, what was great about it, what not so good, and please tell me whatever you learned that you didn't expect about a trip to AK, cost, logistics, gear, etc. TIA
