So, I'm in a league with some work buddies and I am currently 4-5. It's a pretty close league right now and I have a pretty decent chance of making the playoffs if I win four out of my next five games. The trade deadline is this Friday and I need to make a decision on a trade offered to me.
First, I'll start with talking about the rules. It is a 1/2 ppr with bonus points for 40-yard catches/passes/rushes and an additional bonus if the play results in a touchdown. There are also points for return yards.
My current lineup is:
QB Peyton Manning
WR Antonio Brown
WR Demaryius Thomas
RB Todd Gurley
RB CJ Anderson
TE Tyler Eifert
Flex Jarvis Landry
K Justin Tucker
Def/ST New England
On my bench I have:
Tony Romo, Karlos Williams, Duke Johnson Jr, Melvin Gordon, Allen Hurns, and Devante Adams.
I have not gotten suitable production out of my QB or RB2 position so one of the guys is offering me Lamar Miller and Carson Palmer in exchange for Todd Gurley. There are other QB's on waivers like Bortles, Mariota, Cutler, Winston and Fitzpatrick but I don't really trust any of these guys. Should I pay this much for consistency at the QB position?
