Any of you guys following this? I have no military background so I'm just reading along, but how is it possible for the military to be unable to locate a pilot that ejected before the plane went down? Aren't there transponders on the seat? Whole thing is weird. From what I have gathered, there was an extended delay in responding to the crash and then responding military aircraft denied help from law enforcement in searching for the pilot. For those in the know, is it normal for the National Guard to fly live ammo training missions at that time of night with no wingman? Just seems odd. Apparently dogs and infrared used as well in the search. I had a friend text me about it and said he was following the scanner and apparently at one point there is what sounds like morse code?
No idea what's going on but I don't understand how they can't find the pilot hours later. Prayers he's found alive. Is this feedback or actual morse code?
