U.S. and Qatar to freeze $6 billion in Iranian funds
The U.S. and Qatar have agreed to freeze $6 billion in Iranian assets after the funds became a lightning rod after the Brual Hamas attack on Israel, according to a new report.
Multiple news sources confirming that the US and Qatar have come to a "quiet understanding" that not a penny of that money will be used for "humanitarian aid" for Iran. Thankfully it looks like Biden has come to his senses after being pressured by members of his own Party to freeze this money after the heinous attacks by Iranian funded Hamas against Israel. Anyone with a functioning brain knows that any aid given to the world's number one sponsor of terrorism, would only lead to more terrorism. We'll need to keep an eye on the administration to make sure they don't crawfish on this stance, but it looks like, for now, that terrible deal has been canceled.
