Just a possibly too early look at how it could shake down in a month from now.

The CFP and NY6 teams look to be: uga, Ore, Ohio St, Okl, Cinn, ND, uat, Mich St, Mich, aTm, Okl St, and Utah. An ACC champ could possibly be left out unless Oregon or Oklahoma lose a game. Same thing for Cinn in CFP.

That is because this year the 12 teams will be determined by 3 selection processes. To make the NY6 bowls a team must be in the top 12 teams, or have a direct tie-in to a NY6 Bowl.

The top 4 teams will go to the Orange and Cotton Bowls for CFP round 1 games. The Rose and Sugar have direct P5 conference invites to PAC12, B10, SEC, and Big12. That leaves 4 at-large bids to the Fiesta and Peach Bowls.

A 1 or 2 loss ACC champ probably needs one of the conference invites from the PAC12 or Big12 to drop out. That allows Cinn to move up to a CFP invite, and the ACC Champ to take their place for a NY6 at-large spot.

As far as SEC, the current SWAG is:

1. uga 13-0 > Orange cfp v okl
2. uat 11-2 > sugar v Okl st
3. aTm 10-2 > NY6 Fiesta or Peach
4. Ole Miss 9-3 > Citrus v Wisc
5. UK 9-3 > Outback v Purd
6. AU 8-4 > Gator v WF
7. UT 7-5 > Music v PennSt
8. Ark 7-5 > Texas v Iowa St
9. UF 7-5 > Dukes v Clem
10. Miss St 6-6 > Liberty v Baylor
11. SC 6-6 > Bham v Hou
12. Gasparilla - Don’t think LSU, Mizzu or Vandy will be eligible.
