***Note, this is not a "got you" question, I am honestly curious. I have never looked at how culture/ethinic diversity might benefit an economy. I have always looked at how it negatively impacts government function and progress. I have looked at how illegal immigration has impacted the labor market, but that is not really a "diversity" issue.
