When was the last time, against a legit opponent, that Auburn essentially consumed the usable remainder of the clock that denied them even an opportunity to stage a comeback? Add to that, the score that effectively ended the game. I was at the AU v. Texas game in Austin in 1991 when we used Smokin Joe Frazier to use up the last 5+ minutes. Texas never got the ball back in a 14-10 AU win and they knew we were going to be running. In the NC game, Oregon never got the ball again but it was only about 2 minutes. We used 6 soul crushing minutes of the clock today and scored a coffin nailing TD. Pretty damned impressive.
