Ohtani and this guy were inseparable. Terrible that what appeared to be his close friend would betray him and steal millions. Seems hard to believe that guy could take that kind of money with no one knowing it, especially given he and Ohtani were so close. Would be one of the bigger sports stories ever if it came out that Ohtani knew about the gambling all along and they are using the interpreter to take the fall for it now.
