The first round of playoff games for teams ranked 9-12 are on campus of the highest ranked team and are played on the weekend of December 20/21. The winners go on to the playoffs which are held at bowl venues. What about the losers? Do they still get to experience a bowl venue, get much needed practice time, especially the younger players, or do they simply sit home around New Years and watch other teams play? Just curious.....
