It's game week everyone, that means it's time for me to predict every game this season.
Game 1: Auburn takes the field in the dome with lofty expectations and comes out swinging taking an early two touchdown lead. However, Louisville hangs around and ends up pulling out a stunner on a Harvey-Clemens pick six with 2 minutes left in the 4th as he finally gets his goats back. 35-31 Louisville
Game 2: Auburn returns home at 0-1 and bitter after a heartbreaking loss to Petrino and co. JSU comes in and gets absolutely pummeled and we think we have righted the ship. Expect a big game from Roc.
45-16 Auburn
Game 3: It's time for a trip to Baton Rouge. Auburn is hoping to stay alive at 1-1 and get 15+ years of goats back in Death Valley. This game goes back and forth due to uneven QB play from LSU, however similarly to the Outback bowl, the defense just can't bring down Fournette when it counts and LSU's scrub QB beats us with a play action fake to win the game. 31-28 LSU
Game 4: It is desperation time for the Tigers as they enter their second home game at 1-2. Fans are furious and Gus is starting to feel the hot seat. Dak Prescott still remembers his team crumbling at the seams two years ago in Jordan Hare, and once again is out for lost goats. He commences to run for nearly 200 yards on a reeling Muschamp defense and MSU beats us 40-27. The wheels are beginning to come off.
Game 5: San Jose State sees a 1-3 Auburn squad and feels it is their time to shock the world. However Auburn is just too talented and manages to pull away pretty easily behind Peyton Barber's first 100 yard game as a Tiger. 34-17 Auburn
Game 6: Kentucky on a Thursday night. Kentucky feels like it is their time and comes out in crazy uniforms and the fans lose their mularks at the opportunity to beat a storied program in football. Auburn plays its best game of the year and hangs on to win on a failed Kentucky two point conversion. Auburn prevails against its most purse SEC opponent of the year and moves on to a 3-3 record.
28-26 Auburn
Game 7: Bret is absolutely licking his chops at the chance to hand Gus Malzahn's arse for the first time. He circles the wagons like none other in Fayetteville and literally sits on the ball half the game. Auburn fans truly begin to call for Malzahn's head as the season outlook is looking bleak at a 3-4 record.
30-14 Arkansas
Game 8: The wheels have officially come off. Auburn is 3-4 and hosts a mediocre Ole Miss team at home, hoping to get a much needed win on its journey for its current goal just make a bowl. Similarly to 2012, Auburn hangs in there at first against Hugh Freeze's team, but silly plays like a long snap over the head of Sean White (JJ has been benched) into the end zone seal Auburn's fate.
31-10 Ole Miss
Game 9: At 3-5, Auburn is just trying to not get embarrassed on the road at A&M. Rumors are swirling about whether or not Gus makes it to the end of he season. A&M torches Auburn through the air even though Sean White shows some promise against a much improved Aggie defense, but this one isn't close.
38-13 A&M
Game 10: Georgia comes to town and Auburn is in a must win situation for bowl berth. Jeremy Pruitt proceeds to LOL at that situation and dials up blitz after blitz to confuse the redshirt freshman Sean White and Auburn gets embarrassed almost as bad as 2012.
35-6 UGA
Game 11: Idaho arrives in Auburn starstruck by the Jumbotron, but they give us a dogfight. This is the first time "It's Going Down" is played a lot since it's actually a close game in Jordan Hare for the first time this season. However Sean White continues to show promise and leads a reeling team to victory. FYI Duke Williams has been kicked off the team at this point and Marcus Davis is leading the team in receiving yards (shoutout to Allie's prediction)
38-30 Auburn
Game 12: The Gumps are salivating at a reclamation of their goats from their last trip to Jordan Hare as well. Saban's defense gets a lot of goats back from the past two Iron Bowls, but a late game Carlson field goal prevents Bama from getting the shutout it had been gunning for. Gus Malzahn is poised to step down the next day and Auburn fans begin to clamor for Bobby Petrino as the next HC. Auburn finishes at 4-8
48-3 Bama
