Offense
- Someone find Jerry Reed and get Gus's green notebook back!!!
- JJ has always had that Uncle Rico/Vince Young short-arm delivery, but when mixed with having his feet 12 inches apart at release, it's not good. His confidence is low and he needs to get it back quickly. He can.
- Peyton Barber has been The Man! We need some others to step-up Saturday... beginning at QB.
- Not ready to give up on offense yet (not by a long shot), but we need to resemble something close to a decent offense on Saturday. Win or lose, we have to improve immensely from the first 8 quarters.
- Targeting Duke would be a good idea for a change-up... considering he's our best player.

LSU
- We're a 'dog. We were a 'dog prior to the season. That hasn't changed.
- I expect a one-possession game, but that's with a healthy Lawson. Also, Trigga and Avery returning will not make it such an uphill climb. Garrett and Jovon would be great, but they're peripheral players.
- With no CL (or a limited CL), we'll be forced to rush 6 like all of last year or vs Jax St to get any pressure on the QB. Not ideal. If CL is healthy like Qtr 1 of Louisville, it changes the entire complexity of the game.
- LSU offense is not too dissimilar to Jax St... with the exception of Fournette. They can't pass (or we're in big trouble if they can) but our front-four has to hold their own and win some battles.
- I'd expect a relatively low-scoring game.

Defense
- Monty played great. Cass and Rudy played really well. Aside from that, fairly ugly game.
- First half of game (by snaps), Jax St 7-10 on 3rd downs. Last half, 3-10 on 3rd/4th downs. Yay?!
- 91 snaps but only 20 points. Yay again?!
- No Lawson, so no pass rush unless we brought 6. Monty rushed well but their QB could scoot and we rarely had anyone to clean-up.
- D. Russell had a few plays, but appeared tired compared to v Louisville. He's played 120 snaps in his first 2 collegiate games... way too many for a DT, let alone a freshman.
- I've moved President back to DE in rundown since that's where he was aligned the entire game.
- Muschamp doesn't sub as liberally as Ellis... at least through the first two games. Pros/Cons to both.
- Again, 6 frosh with double-digit snaps.
- Nickel alignment for 95% of game.
- For the final 52 plays the back 7 were the exact same with two exceptions: Tre getting 14 snaps which was more related to Cass being hurt. Javy playing 2 snaps in place of Irvin.
- Otherwise, it was a Frost/Cass/Jones/Davis/Irvin/Ford/Ruffin back 7.

Total Plays: 91 (again, I count snaps where the players got "run". A pass interference is a "No Play" but I count it just to give an idea of who's out there. If the whistle blows dead at the snap, obviously no count)
