Opinions welcome. Per my other post about my Pilot needing too much in repairs to swallow, I mentioned looking at these two cars. Test drove both this past weekend.
Telly - good size, pretty nice interior. Tellys are only 4 years old, so not enough data to see where they are in years 6-10+. Definitely a risk there in terms of reliability. Get more for your money.
Highlander - a bit smaller, but fine. Better reliability overall. Depending on trim level, probably 2-4k more expensive. I wish they stuck to the V6 vs. 4-cyl turbo, but gov't emissions standards was the primary driving force behind that decision. The 4-cycl is a bit noisy, but not bad. For the Highlander, there's two trims I'm looking at. Is $3k worth it to have parking sensors, ventilated seats, folding mirrors and a bigger infotainment screen?
