One of Auburn's top young cornerbacks, redshirt freshman Tyler Scott, tore his ACL and will be out for an extended period. That's a very tough blow for a secondary that was already a little thin after the departure of Colton Hood. Scott was expected to be a top backup at both cornerback and nickel.

This means true freshman Jay Crawford and Kensley Louidor-Faustin will have to step up even more along with transfer Antonio Kite.
