My son is apparently a huge fan of Kendrick Lamar...an artist I know of but do not know well.
He has been begging us to take him to the super bowl for weeks so he can see KL at the halftime show.
We have rebuffed this request, telling him a tour always follows an artist playing the super bowl.
He is not aware of the tour yet but we got him tickets for Christmas today.
Live music is something I need, it is part of who I am and maybe this will be the catalyst to his love of it as well.
He has been to a Metallica show and seen Rob Zombie with me but that was my music, not his (yet).
Very exciting about this for him.
