I stopped by the local Piggly Wiggly (The Hog) to pick up a 5-lb box of frog legs. I’ve been getting them there for about $25/box.
Today, I noticed the box is now 2-lbs and the sticker said $106! No way that could be right, so I grabbed two boxes and went to check out.
Chick rings them up and, yep...$106 for a 2-lb box of farm raised frog legs from China. I argued with them, but they stuck to their guns. How in the hayul do they intend to sell frog legs at $53/lb?
