I posted this before a few months ago and got some good responses. Wife and I are going away for a long weekend. Staying at Market Place which is in the middle of the historic district. Going to spend half a day going to Fort Sumter and probably half a day or so at Patriots Point. Other than that I assume we will just kick around the historic district for a day. Any must do’s or don’ts? It’s our first time there and we know we can’t tackle it all in 2.5 days, but want to get as much good as we can. I assume other then having to ferry to Ft Sumter, I’m assume once we park at the hotel, we can walk to pretty much everything we need/want to do and not need to drive??
