Impressed early with ability to apply pressure and to create plays/not give up big plays.
When Carl Lawson got dinged up we were not the same team - looked like team last year where we couldn't get to the quarterback - "and that's Auburn, a known team able to pass rush."
Could tell at their best AU was dramatically better during the game.
What you saw - there is VAST improvement
Greg McElroy:
AU is talented but not deep which is where [McElroy] is mostly concerned, maybe play a little slower on offense. He's worried about the depth in all. Mentioned that we ran out of gas after first 7 games of last season. Wonders if we change the philosophy of our offense so we can keep defense healthy and rejuvenated (stout and stingy) in the second half of the season.

Didn't comment (I think they ran out of time on our segment)
Mike Bellotti:
Defense can only do so much on emotion and intensity especially if offense cannot put together long drives, yards and points.
Will Muschamp kept defense fired up throughout the game. Much better 1st half than 2nd half. If they can keep healthy they sure can run the table. Very powerful looking linebacker core.
