Casey Mize, who missed last weekend's game with tightness in his forearm, has thrown lightly the last two days with no issues and will throw what Butch Thompson called a "competitive bullpen" Wednesday. If everything feels normal after that and still feels fine the next morning, Mize should be back in Auburn's rotation this weekend at Mississippi State. If he does return, he'll likely pitch Sunday's game in Starkville to give him as extra day of rest. He was checked out by Dr. Andrews last week and there was no structural damage.
