Can we discuss our current scholarship QBs?

By no means do I want this to be a bashing of any of them. But here goes…

It seems we sign a good HS QB each recent year. Why have none of them developed into an SEC caliber QB?

Is it the hit rate on a HS QB becoming a good college QB low? I know the NFL has a terrible track record of identifying good NFL QBs from good college QBs.
