I never used thread view, but I know those people were upset when it went away. You've been using that way of posting for decades and its tough to change. I get it. But the new boards offer so much more flexibility in terms of likes/quotes/mentions being reported as notifications so you can stay up to date on threads you are posting in. Not to mention every time you re-click on a thread it takes you to what you last read. I realize that is kind of what thread view did, but every time I tried to read thread view it made my head hurt. So many links it looked like a giant spider web. This combines thread view and topic view into one, and I'm really digging the new layout and accessibility of the board.
