** Looking forward to a fresh restart on 2nd half of SEC play. It's Super Bulldog Weekend at Miss St so it will be a great atmosphere.
** The pitching plan for this week is Dylan Watts will pitch FRI, Tanner Bauman will go SAT and Carson Myers SUN.
** Three hand injuries on team. They're all day-to-day. Taking a big group to Starkville because 27-man roster won't be finalized until Friday. Bobby Peirce is a game-time decision. Ike Irish will swing tonight in Starkville and we'll see if he can go Friday. Mason Maners was HBP and we'll test him THU/FRI.
** Alex Petrovic is out this week.
** Hopefully some things we've been talking about for last couple of weeks will start playing out in our favor. We've learned a lot. Team is in good spirits.
** Eric Guevara looks more and more comfortable at the plate and at 3B. Cade Belyeu has done good things in SEC last few weeks and earned more playing time. Has every tool required to succeed at this level. Cale Stricklin has great energy as a catcher. He's had some of our best games behind the plate. Ahead in his development. Cole Edwards is going to hit. He's still trying to grow defensively. He's the next guy up with these injuries.
