At about 4 pm cst I fed my 10 year old Golden Retriever a half of a piece of pizza. It had tons of onions on it. about 45 minutes later he threw up. My wife has since informed me that you're not supposed to feed dogs anything with onions on it. Since the first throw up he has thrown up every 20 to 30 minutes. He drinks water, sleeps for 20 minutes or so, gets up runs to the door, runs out and throws up, comes back, happy wagging tail, drinks water, hangs out, sleeps for 20 minutes or so then repeat. Looks a lot like when I had food poisoning. Is this because of the onions? If so, is this an emergency or will he get through it on the current routine. Like I said, he does seem happy, wagging tail, but then gets tired until he throws up. Advice much appreciated.
