We are set to speak with Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin at 1:30 p.m. CT. Follow along for all your updates.
HARSIN
- Players of the Game: Bo Nix (Offense), Most of the Defense, O-lIne is Keiondre Jones, D-Line is Colby Wooden, Joke Willis wins Special Team
- Calls Georgia a really good team. Big, if true.
- It's a chance to build off what Auburn and the team has done so far this season. Certainly excited about the victory at LSU.
- Not sure about UGA's QB situation whether it will be JT Daniels or Stetson Bennett.
- "This is why you play. You look forward to weeks like this." Says Jordan-Hare should be rocking and Tigers need the home-field advantage.
- Hopeful that Owen Pappoe plays this week. Comes down to game time. Says Tank is fine.
- Shaun Shivers is a big part of the game plan. Credits him for converting 5 third downs.
- Jarquez Hunter created a spark with the big run on the final drive.
- "That's not ideal." - the slow starts the last three games and playing from behind.
- Says some guys are on the edge of their seat during meetings, taking notes while others have to be reminded to get notebook out.
- "We want to start faster and play that way through four quarters, not three."
- The scramble drill is something they put in back in the spring. Calls Nix elusive. The guy can make plays.
- "Everybody wants to try and run the football." - Harsin on going up against Georgia's front seven. Says they have physical and have great technique.
- Have to remain fundamentally sound. Have to win the 1-on-1 battles.
- "I don't know if TD Moultry will be here or not this week, and I will leave it at that." - Intriguing.
- Thinks Coach Mason and his staff have worked together well during halftime and the game making adjustments. It showed up against LSU on Saturday.
- There's going to be tweaks to the game plan depending on quarterback for UGA and running back. But the defense has to remain sound. Credits UGA for being a balanced team.
- By the way, went for the laugh from Harsin on bringing up no fires or earthquakes. I epically failed.
- Says Jaylin Simpson played well and Auburn needed him out there. Eku Leota got pressure at times.
- "I have a lot of respect for him." - On OC Mike Bobo. Talks about having to compete against him when Bobo was at Colorado State.
And that is it from Bryan Harsin today. Thanks for all of the love in the comments.
