** That's a great win, celebrated with guys. Really proud of players and staff. Electric atmosphere. Fed off that. Defense stepped up in red zone. Offense started out fast and made plays. Impressed with mentality of team, nobody on sideline flinched.
** Did pretty good on 4th down and in the red zone. We knew they were going to go for it. Had to have the mindset to stop the and convert our 4th downs too.
** Great to have Owen Pappoe back. He showed up. They ran the ball well but those guys in the middle stopped the inside run. The three LBs play with an edge.
** Coach Mason has done a great job of communicating with the players and making adjustments. We had to figure out who they were attacking and make adjustments.
** Bo Nix is playing consistent, that's the key at QB position. Making good decisions. He's a weapon with his legs and he's utilizing that well. He's getting better.
** Tank Bigsby played hard, ran hard. Was able to get loose on some big runs. He's improving. The OL and TEs did a good job in this game.
** Our guys are well conditioned and focused to play well in the 4th quarter. We emphasize finishing games. Our guy believe in that and we've got to continue with that mentality.
** The run defense was huge. That's what Ole Miss does well. It's hard to make the decisions between stopping the run and the pass when Matt Corral is back there dealing. But you've got to start with stopping the runs and find ways to make some plays when the ball's in the air.
** The offensive staff is working together and doing a good job of putting together gameplans. The players are doing a good job of executing. We've learned our personnel and we're putting them in the best position to be successful. Bobo has done a good job of that. Thought he called a really good game tonight.
** Both sides made adjustments in 2nd half. Offenses were sputtering at time. We turned the ball over twice, which hurt us. Didn't execute on 3rd down like we did in 1st half. You want to come out and play better in 2nd half but we did enough to win.
