** Bruce, Barkley and basketball will be on Oct. 9 at FarmLinks in Sylacauga. Not sure if Barkley statue will be done before then.
** Tennessee along with South Carolina are probably the hardest playing teams in the league. Rick Barnes is candidate for SEC Coach of the Tear. Have played toughest schedule. Coming off a great week after beating Kentucky and Kansas State.
** Will have to play our best basketball to beat UT.
** Made progress at TCU. Significant to get 4th true road win of the season. RPI getting back in range of being on the bubble.
** Hubbs is a 1st-team all-conference player as a senior. Tough cover, physical. The freshman, Grant Williams, is a 6-5 hard-playing C/PF. Very versatile. Has 6-10 wingspan. They play nine guys.
** All of Tennessee's players guard and challenge every shot. Very good offensive rebounding team.
** Not an ounce of overconfidence with Auburn right now. Plenty still to work on.
** Very significant how they played defense and capitalized off of it at TCU. Going to watch some of it today with team.
** Tennessee is probably playing the best of any team in the SEC right now.
** In a 9-man rotation right now. That leaves both TJ Lang and LaRon Smith on the bench. It's a function of other guys playing well. Emergence of Bryce Brown as a defender, T.J. Dunans making plays, the play of Mustapha Heron have all played a part.
** Likes what they're getting out of Austin Wiley and Anfernee McLemore at the 5 position.
