** Huge weekend. Have an opportunity to get back in the SEC race. Have an opportunity to get knocked out of the race.

** LSU has some good wins and some tough losses. Can score. Has good rim protectors. Playing two 6-10 guys together.

** Neither Auburn or LSU has put up good defensive numbers. Games against other teams that were picked in the bottom four are crucial.

** Danjel Purifoy has progressed really well and is shooting today. He will not practice today and is doubtful for the game.

** Valued possessions at Kentucky and got into space and downhill ball screens. Had success with it. Half-court defense was good when they got into it. Didn't do well in transition defense.

** Fast start against Kentucky was good, moment wasn't too big. Guys were excited about playing in a great environment for college basketball at Kentucky. Felt like they had a legitimate shot.

** Got to take each game one at a time but these next two home games are crucial for Auburn.

** T.J. Dunans is a strong presence in the locker room. His best games have been against the best games we've played. The things he did against Kentucky, we haven't seen every night or with great consistency. Would be excited if he can continue to do that.

** Pearl has a soft spot in his heart for T.J. He's a great father. He's 15 hours away from degree. Has a chance to play on the next level. We're all rooting for him.

** The calls that are going against Austin Wiley right now are just a matter of him establishing himself. Just need to see him some more times. Fouls two and five were really tough calls at UK.

*****THAT'S ALL*****
