** Significant to get an invitation to Hall of Fame Classic and to play Oklahoma. Lon Kruger is a HOF coach. Have a bunch of guys back from Final Four team. Have played a hard schedule. Very athletic, deep, great in transition. Biggest and most athletic team Auburn has played so far.
** Half-court offense is not where he wants it to be. Oklahoma will play them man-to-man. Worked on half-court offense this morning. Need more movement, need to be more patient. Need to mix Austin Wiley in more.
** Oklahoma's guards are huge. Will be a challenge for Auburn's guards. Guys are going to have to respond.
** Bryce Brown and Horace Spencer will make trip to Connecticut. They're off suspension. Whether or not they play against Oklahoma and/or UConn is to be determined. Got to work their way back now.
** Looking for Wiley to continue to play a little more and expand the playbook with him. His role will go up a little bit every game he's out there.
** Auburn and possibly the SEC Network will be doing something on the Mustapha Heron reading program this week. Pearl expects a lot of family, friends, teammates to be there to see him play against Oklahoma and Connecticut.
** This week is a litmus test. Are we going to be a postseason tournament team or not? Important for the SEC to get some quality wins. Can't overplay opportunity.
** Will play fast against Oklahoma but not too fast. Oklahoma can run them out of the gym if they play too fast.
