** Took some early shots that went in against Coastal Carolina and that helped. Good to see the joy of his players in the game. Good to see them move the ball on offense, guard and rebound better.
** Anfernee McLemore gave them a presence inside. Hadn't played much 5 up until recently because they needed him to play with Danjel Purifoy.
** McLemore's best position is probably 5 and he could stay there even when Horace Spencer returns.
** Spencer and Bryce Brown will not practice today.
** Mercer has lost five games to good teams. Expects to see a lot of zone. Will have hands full.
** Different start time for Mercer. Going to practice earlier to prepare.
** Auburn is top 5 in country in pace. Mercer is top 5 slowest.
** 20 assists was good for Auburn against Coastal Carolina.
** CORRECTION: Spencer and Brown have been ruled out of practice today. It's day to day. Haven't been ruled out for Saturday's practice or Sunday's game against Mercer.
** New Williams leaves Auburn in good standing and his release is unconditional.
