Bruce Pearl spoke to the media after a 91-75 win over USC. Here's a summary...
** Getting great play out of both point guards. Tre Donaldson and Aden Holloway have combined for 78 points, 25 assists, 2 turnovers in the last three games.
** Played very well defensively, especially in the 1st half. The zone worked well and it forced them to take time off the clock.
** Great crowd. Thanks Auburn's students for coming back from break.
** Best Dylan Cardwell has played on both ends of the floor.
** We won the battle at point guard and we won the battle inside at the 5.
** Auburn needs to drive in the gaps better against zones. Passing and shooting well against zones.
** Denver Jones had a big 3 to stop a USC run. Chad Baker-Mazara only took three shots but had so much joy after the win. He's only worried about winning and being a good teammate.
** Our guard have worked hard to stop penetration but Boogie blew by them a few times. Gotta continue to work on that. The key is to not take positions off and play hard every night.
** Jaylin Williams came ready to play. He's had great practices and preparation since the Indiana game.
** This is most Power 5 opponents we've had in non-conference (AU is 4-1 against Power 5 this season). I've never seen the SEC as deep and strong as it is right now. Very proud AU has best non-conference record over last seven years.
