We are speaking with Bruce Pearl this morning (or maybe afternoon depending on your location) about Saturday's showdown against No. 6 Florida and his former assistant Todd Golden. No. 1 Auburn is riding a 14-game winning streak.

** Playing 4th top 10 team this year so far. Plenty more to come. UF should be one of top four teams in the SEC Tournament. They have improved on defense from a year ago -- turning people over, FG/3FG defense, physicality and great size. One of best offensive rebounding teams in country.
** Great matchup in backcourt. Both have great size and dynamic players. Going to be a physical battle inside for position and rebounding.
** The atmosphere here all week has been stepped up with 100's of students already camped out. Great to talk to them this morning and appreciate them being here.
** UF is on par with Duke and Houston and Iowa State and Tennessee as top teams we've played so far.
** UF's guards can all shoot from 3 and 2 and are physical, tough covers. It's as good as any backcourt we've played against. Alijah Martin has been a great addition.
** Knowing Todd Golden and him knowing us doesn't have a big impact on scouting because we have played each other. I root for Todd when we're not playing each other. Don't like playing him. Would like to just play him once a year for SECT championship.
** Chad Baker-Mazara has done a great job not taking the bait. He's improved playing with passion and emotion. There's was a lot of stuff going on in Oklahoma game. Haven't seen a lot of it this year. We've tried to stay away from it. There could be teams that try to be more physical to get him out of the game.
** UF has deeper frontcourt than us. Important for Dylan and Johni to stay out of foul trouble. It can be difficult with the way we defend but it's doable. UF requires you to put in 2nd and 3rd efforts into how you guard because they're so efficient on offense.
** UF is going to crash the boards and displace you. You've got to increase your umbrella, try not to get displaced and go up with two hands.
