** Disappointed we couldn't win at Miss St and be 11th seed. MSU is playing as well as the teams at the top of the SEC. Thought Auburn played well in 2nd half, found a rhythm offensively. Offense killed us in 1st half.
** Part of the reason they played Middle Tennessee on a neutral court was to get in same building as SEC Tournament.
** Tennessee in similar situation to Auburn with point guard out. Vols drilled AU last time they played. Didn't have TJ Dunans at the time. AU more competitive team with Dunans but hasn't translated into wins yet.
** Should have been up way more early against MSU, which only had six points in the first 10 minutes.
** Need to play better defense, force more turnovers on defense.
** There's no magic wand Pearl can wave for Auburn to play well in the postseason. Has told players that one win, two wins, three wins in the SEC Tournament is historic for Auburn.
** Auburn has only been favored in one SEC game this season. Trying to give players an edge, have to prove people wrong.
