** Good news being able to play seven scholarship guys double-digit minutes. Still just seven guys but more competitive.
** Horace Spencer continues to play very well. Alabama only scored 24 points when he was on the floor. Still has foul trouble in certain games.
** Texas A&M and Mississippi State are playing as well as any of the upper SEC teams are playing. Both have senior-laden teams and will start four seniors. TAMU is competing for a conference championship. TAMU has nine guys that play double-digit minutes. Have little drop off when they go to their bench.
** Spencer has worked hard. Hardest worker in weight room. One of the hardest workers in practice. Has added to his offensive game -- drop step, hook. Can score at a higher level now. Has improved his free throw shooting, in the gym shooting at night a lot.
** Pearl said he can't play Dunans 38 minutes against TAMU like he did against Alabama. "It's too much." Probably play eight or nine guys against TAMU.
** Pearl expects Cinmeon Bowers to leave Auburn with his degree. Taking 15 tough hours this semester. Came to Auburn when AU didn't have a lot to offer as a top JUCO prospect. Has brought a lot of energy and toughness to team.
** Tyler Harris never had a double-double in his career and has had eight this season. Had to deal with a back injury for a portion of season. Hope he can shoot better from outside and from foul line down the stretch. Brought leadership and toughness to team.
** Jordon Granger is a great example of what Auburn can do. He came out as rough as anybody academically and socially and Auburn changed him. He came a better Christian man here. Has a good foundation with degree and will have a good impact on our world. He's improved on the basketball court.
** Trayvon Reed is progressing very well in class room and on the court. Up to 255, came in at 215. Will definitely help team next year.
