OPENING:
Kentucky has a great team. They play really well together. Tremendous in transition.

DEFENSIVE ISSUES:
I felt like we fouled them too much. They got into the bonus in the second half in five minutes. Fouls are errors. We fouled them 31 times, they fouled us 18 times. You can’t miss 10 free throws and expect to put a scare into them.

We challenged them in some ways, but we never were really a threat.

They made 8 threes in the first half. I didn’t think they’d make eight more.

YOU LET THEM SHOOT FROM OUTSIDE?
That’s the beauty of the team — they take what the defense gives you.

ON CALIPARI:
I want to challenge John. I want them to be pissed off that we beat them last year. It matters that you beat Kentucky with John Calipari. I want to challenge him.

ON THE OFFENSIVE PLAN:
The only way we could score was to pull their bigs out and come off ball screens. We had to drive downhill. The farther I get Bam away from the basket, the better chance I have. We thought we could turn the corner. I would have liked to see us drive to dish a little bit more. I didn't think our guys ... kicked it out enough. We got to the rim.

ON THE TEAM IN GENERAL:
We're coming. We're getting closer.

ON AUSTIN:
Austin did a really good job of walling (Adebayo) off. We didn't get the ball inside to him enough. We will do that.
