I've had a crack on my screen for awhile now and just been putting on getting the screen replaced. Well, last night it fell off the couch and landed flat on the screen and the screen came off a little and turned black and purple. The backlight was on and when you touched the screen the colors would move around. I turned it off to see if restarting it would help reset the messed up screen and now it wont turn back on.
Has anyone ever had a broken screen not allow the phone to even turn on? Have you replaced a screen that didn't actually fix the phone? I just don't wanna waste the money if this isn't going to get my phone back on and working again.
